Rea Vaya construction is taking place along Charlton Terrace and the Voorhout-Miller Loop Road.

Scope of works – Construction of BRT layer works along Charlton Terrace and the Voorhout-Miller Loop Road.

Extent of works – Charlton Terrace between Saratoga Avenue and Van Beek Street the construction of the bus lanes are for two directional bus traffic bounded by two mixed traffic lanes in each direction.
The bus lanes over this section are to be reconstructed with BRT layer works to improve the road cross section.
Voorhout/Miller Streets Loop Road, the construction of the bus lanes are for uni-directional bus traffic.

Construction progress – contractor is busy with:

•    Relocation of gas line
•    Box cutting in progress
•    Compaction in progress

Traffic Accommodation – two BRT lanes will be closed along Charlton Terrace between Saratoga Avenue and Van Beek Street, the BRT buses will have to travel on the mixed lane along Charlton Terrace.
