The Rea Vaya BRT will be running additional buses for spectators going to the Bafana vs. Ghana Game at Soccer City on Wednesday 11 August 2010.
IN addition to the usual commuter services on Wednesday, additional buses will leave from both Soweto and the CBD to Soccer City from 16:30 and buses will be available to take spectators home after the match.
Fans are reminded that after the game they must go to the following stations which will serve the following destinations:
SOWETO: Depart from Soccer City station situated north of the stadium on the SOWETO highway
CBD/ELLIS PARK: Depart from Nasrec station south of stadium in transport hub
Fans are urged to note that the last buses leaving for Soccer City will depart from Thokoza Park and Ellis Park half an hour before the game at 20.00.
Buying Rea Vaya R12 event return tickets from your station when travelling to Soccer City will speed up your journey home as you will not have to queue after the game to buy travel tickets.
The City is not arranging Park and Rides for fans. However, fans can find their own parking in the vicinity of Rea Vaya stations and then use the Rea Vaya for a speedy trip to the Stadium.
