Rea Vaya buses will not be operating any further services today, 14 February, following an unprotected work stoppage by bus drivers.
PIOTRANS, the Bus Operating Company contracted to render the Rea Vaya bus services have been unable to reach agreement with the bus drivers in their employ.
Negotiations are however continuing and the company is hopeful that an agreement could be reached later tonight to allow services to resume tomorrow.
Rea Vaya will keep passengers and the media informed regarding the possible resumption of services tomorrow. Passengers will also be able to get information from stations, Rea Vaya’s facebook, twitter sites and the call centre before services are scheduled to resume tomorrow.
Rea Vaya once again wishes to apologise to all Rea Vaya passengers for the inconvenience caused by the unprotected action by the drivers.
